The Kelwood Arboretum Garden was started in 2006 on designated green space owned by the Rosedale municipality. It has been a labour of love from its inception and continues to change and grow as the years go by. It is our hope that it will serve the people who live here by uplifting their spirits as they pass by, or give a moment of calm to the ones who come to 'set a spell', or provide a lovely venue for special events.
The garden is an extension of the existing arboretum that was established in the early 1990s. These two areas combined, offer a lovely, peaceful setting for the quilt show.
It gives us great satisfaction to see people laughing, chatting, and even binding a quilt in the embrace of this garden.
